Germain

Germain Gerrier, C2J Avocats Partner, has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2005. He holds a degree from the ESSEC Business School, a DESS advanced degree in Fiscal Law, and a postgraduate DEA in Corporate Law from Paris XII University.

After six years in a business firm in Paris, he went on to earn a Specialised Masters degree in International Business Strategy and Management from the ESSEC in Singapore in order to improve his knowledge of financial mechanics and intercultural negotiations.

He then spent six years working in the executive regional legal departments of major groups in Southeast Asia and London, where he developed special expertise in management of complex contracts and responses to invitations to tender (Fidic contract, EPC projects, etc.). His experience outside of France also offered him the opportunity to build several joint ventures in Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia and Hong Kong.

Upon his return to France, Germain joined C2J Avocats, strengthening the corporate law and contract law departments.

He counsels and supports SME clients and entrepreneurs on their national and international contract issues and also acts on corporate matters including equity participation, creation of joint ventures, partnership agreements.

In addition, Germain works with foreign companies that wish to set up in France and French companies seeking to establish themselves abroad. He draws from his extensive network of contacts in Southeast Asia.
